Julie Holness

Julie Holness Julie Holness is a communications consultant specialising in business negotiations. She understands the challenges and pressures of negotiations in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment, having worked in Germany and France for several years as in-house trainer of company directors, middle management and teams of all sizes within a number of international companies. An IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examiner for 14 years, she has also worked extensively with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the British Council.

Julie has a lively entrepreneurial spirit and during her twenties she established three successful businesses: intensive linguistic and business skills training for corporate clients from Europe and Asia; residential language courses for French youngsters; and property restoration and professional lets, a business which she continues to develop alongside her training commitments.

She has a naturally dynamic and inspirational training style which focuses on negotiation and presentation skills and incorporates structured role play and detailed feedback sessions. An award-winning public speaking trainer, she encourages her clients to push boundaries, challenge limits and realise potential in a positive and results oriented environment.

Her interest and involvement in commercial negotiations and conflict resolution, coupled with extensive senior management and international marketing experience, have proven to her time and again that effective communication skills lie at the heart of every enduring professional relationship and every successful business deal.
